The App Store begins to reject applications that are promoted as free

Since the launch of the first iPhone, rather a year later, the Apple application store has become a fundamental tool so that all users can install applications on their devices, not only essential but necessary since it is the only way to do it unless our device has jailbroken. Thanks to the developer community, our iPhone, iPad and iPod touch have a large number of applications so we can do practically anything with our device. Apple has always been known for controlling all applications a lot They want to be able to become available in their iOS app store.

In order to improve the functioning of it and that users do not feel cheated, the App Store has begun to reject all applications that include the word free or free in the description, in the icon, in the preview or in the catches. Any application that wants to be able to become available in the Apple store and that displays that word in one of the aforementioned ways, will be rejected automatically and developers will receive the following message:

Your app name, icon, screenshots, or previews displayed in the App Store include references to your app's price, which are not considered part of the metadata. Remove all price references from the app name, icon, screenshots claiming the app is free or offering a discount. If you want to display that information, you must do so in the application description.

Disney and Google have several applications with this word in the name of it, a word that probably they will have to eliminate if they do not want Apple to apply the new regulations and can exclude them from the app store.
