A couple of years ago Google launched Android One, an initiative so that any user could enjoy a terminal with pure Android without having to unpack a large amount of money. Little by little Android One has become a more than interesting option for many users and the guys at Google, far from abandoning it, continue to work on it. In Spain the manufacturer BQ is one of the first manufacturers to opt for this platform, but he's not the only one. The other "big one" is General Mobile, a Turkish manufacturer that is also part of this program.

The Turkish manufacturer has just presented the GM 5, a terminal with low-mid-range characteristics, but which allows it to become The first Android One maker with the latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat, which hit the market a couple of months ago. At the moment we do not know when the Spanish firm BQ will launch new terminals with Android 7.0 or update the current ones that are part of this platform.

The new General Mobile terminal shows us a terminal with a 5-inch screen with HD resolution and 294 ppi, but unlike its competitors it offers us an IPS panel protected by Gorilla Glass 4 technology. Inside, the Turkish firm offers us a Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 2.500 mAH battery, 16 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD cards, a 13 mpx rear camera and a 5 mpx front camera.

This terminal will hit the market in dual SIM version or version with a single SIM. This model will be available in three colors: silver, black and gray and at the moment we do not know when it will be available on the market or at the price at which it will be, but being a low-mid-range terminal, it should not rise above 200 euros.
