The head of Uber's flying taxis leaves his post

Even Uber executives are hired as if they were freelancers

Uber continues to experience some of the most tense months in its organization. Since last year the new CEO arrived in the company with the aim of improving its image, the situation continues to be full of ups and downs. Especially since the fatal accident this year. The company recently presented its new and ambitious project, flying taxis.

The company has been working on this project for quite some time, and recently featured these flying taxis at the Uber Elevate event. An event with which the firm wanted to show its project for the future. Although now, the leader of this project loses his position.

Dave Clark and Salle Yoo are some of the names that have left Uber since the arrival of the new CEO of the company. Now, to these names is added that of Jeff Holden, who curiously was in charge of presenting these flying taxis to the press recently.

Nothing is clear about the reasons for his departure or resignation. Though it seems that he continues with the line of renewing the company as much as possible, in order to regain a positive image. Which seems complicated after the accident and the many legal problems of the firm.

Eric Allison becomes the replacement in this flying taxi division of Uber. An ambitious and forward-looking project for the company, but one that raises many doubts. Especially in terms of feasibility. So it will be necessary to see if the firm manages to show progress or convince the public.

Surely it is not the last resignation or dismissal that we see in Uber in these months. The company continues to change radically and tries to leave the scandals behind. Although the latter seems somewhat complicated. So we will have to see what new changes arrive in the coming months.
