HomePod will arrive in France and Germany on June 18

The HomePod, that speaker intelligent, to call it somehow, because many users sigh, mainly Apple fans, it has just expanded the number of countries in which it will be able to buy and I say it will be able to buy, because for now and until next time June 18, it is still limited to the UK, Australia and the US.

As of June 18, Apple will begin shipping the first units to all those users who reserve it in France, Germany and Canada, the three new countries that will be able to enjoy the limited intelligence of Siri in addition to the excellent sound quality offered by this device (obviously not everything can be bad).

A couple of days ago BuzzFeed leaked the news of the possible launch of the HomePod in these three countries, but it was not until a few hours ago, when Apple has officially confirmed it through their respective web pages, where we can already see the final price that the device will have, one of the great doubts that European users had for the happy euro-dollar exchange.

The HomePod will be available in France and Germany for 349 euroYes, the same price but in dollars and without taxes that the HomePod has in the United States. Although it already appears on the website, at the moment it cannot be reserved. Neither information is shown about when it will be possible to reserve to be among the first to enjoy it.

After the latest update to iOS 11.4, which Apple released just a couple of days ago, the HomePod is finally compatible with second-generation technology AirPlay 2, a technology that allows us to independently control each of the AirPlay-compatible speakers, in order to create different environments in our home.

Sonos speakers, some of which we have already tested in Actualidad Gadget, are also compatible with this technology, so it will not be necessary to get a HomePod if we already have in our home a Sonos One or a Sonos Play: 5, the latter is more expensive than the HomePod.
