Intel's solution to Meltdown and Specter, brings reboots on some computers

Intel

It cannot be said that Intel's response to the Meltdown and Specter problem was slow, but that in turn has consequences like those that some users are experiencing on their computers. These problems are manifested after updating the security problem on computers that are less than 5 years old and are translated on unexpected computer restarts.

The strong pressure that the manufacturer is subjected to after discovering the problem means that the response has to be practically immediate and this can have consequences like the ones we are seeing. The solution itself becomes another unexpected problem for the company It does not seem to raise its head in this regard.

First 8th Gen Intel Core

The Wall Street Journal itself has had access to several documents from Intel itself in which it warns several of its clients -computer manufacturers and cloud service providers- of this possible failure once the patch is installed, which in turn fixes the Meltdown and Specter security flaw. After all the commotion they have finally had to make another public statement in which they warn that the processors affected with the reboots are the Broadwall and Haswell,

I said, a small disruption in the tranquility that Intel had for many years and that now could tip the balance of computer manufacturers towards other manufacturers, although they are not exempt from security or stability problems. The news continues to arrive in a dropper and the improvements that we have to see in these processors in terms of security are not completely clarified, in addition the released patches seem to add more problems than anything else. Let's hope that the way and the solution will be found soon, since it is not pleasant for anyone to have this uncertainty.
