The mythical watch brand Casio, presents its second smartwatch

During these days, the Consumar Electronic Show, better known to all of you as the CES, is being held in Las Vegas, a fair where the main novelties that will arrive throughout this year in the consumer sector are presented. From Actualidad Gadget They report daily on the most important products that have been presented so far. Now it's time to talk about Casio's second wearable. The legendary Japanese watch brand has just presented the WSD-F20 at CES, a smartwath that integrates the design of the G-Shock range and that will be managed by Android Wear 2.0.

The company has launched what we could consider the renewal of its first smartwatch by adding various functions that were not present in the first model. Casio has wanted to distance itself a bit from the traditional sector where this type of wearables is destined, launching a model where its resistance is what stands out the most, a resistance that exceeds military standards such as resistance to dust, pressure, sand, falls, humidity, rain and seeing, shocks, extreme temperatures, corrosive liquids ...

But in addition to being one of the most resistant smartwatches on the market, Casio has also taken the opportunity to add a GPSAccording to the company, it is low-consumption and works with MapBox maps, which we can download to the device to use without having to hand the smartphone to which it is connected. Regarding the screen, it offers us two configurations, one of them allows us to modify the colors used in it to save battery and show only the time.

The Casio WSD-F20 will hit the market on April 21 with Android 2.0, if it is finally launched during the first quarter of the year, as Google assured when it announced its delay. Regarding the price at the moment, nothing is known yet, but it is likely to be a price similar to the first model that the company launched a year ago.
