Xiaomi's new laptop is now official and has made a huge leap in quality

Xiaomi

Just a few months ago, Xiaomi surprised us with the launch of its first two laptops, which offered us enormous power, a careful design and above all a very low price when compared to other competitors on the market. Today he has raised the stakes again and has officially presented two new versions of your Mi Note Book, which this time are called Air 4G.

And it is that the new devices of the Chinese manufacturer, as already announced days ago, have a lighter design and also with the possibility of connecting to the 4G network, something that is undoubtedly very appreciated by more and more of users. Its price, without a doubt, is once again one of its great attractions.

A strong commitment to 4G connectivity

The two new versions of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook have had their design renewed to ensure that we are facing two devices that are lighter than the previous ones launched just 5 months ago and also have as the main novelty the incorporation of the possibility of connecting through the 4G network. This will mean that we do not have to depend on being connected to a WiFi network to access the Internet, something that is not always available.

The problem with all this is that the device will not offer us the possibility of inserting a SIM card with which to access the network of networks, but will connect directly with China Mobile, the largest mobile phone operator in the Asian country and will offer 48 GB free to navigate to all buyers during the first year. Any user who buys it outside of China will stay at first and if nothing changes without the possibility of using 4G connectivity, in what according to our humble opinion is a resounding failure of Xiaomi.

Perhaps in countries other than China we can connect in some other way, but it is difficult to think of access to the network of networks through 4G without a SIM card. We will continue to report on this aspect and we do not doubt that the Mi Notebook, although it will only be sold in China, at least for now, will be largely present in other markets, for example Spain.

Price and Availability

At the moment these two new versions of the Xiaomi laptop will remain only in China where they will be sold for a few 650 euros in the case of the 12.5-inch Mi Notebook and for 970 if we lean towards the 13.3-inch.

As usual we can purchase these new devices through third parties or through one of the many Chinese stores that will offer them in a few days. Of course, unfortunately we will see how the price of these devices purchased through third parties rises.

What do you think of the new laptops presented today by Xiaomi, and that once again they will boast a sensational price?. Tell us if you would be willing to buy one of the new Xiaomi laptops, knowing the problems that buying a device in China always involves, where guarantees and many other things are very different from those we have in Spain for example.
