The Nintendo Switch already allows you to connect wireless headphones

As is usual when a new product is presented, on the one hand we find a lot of positive reviews, but we can also see a large number of negative reviews. The Nintendo Switch called was not saved from burning, as is now happening to the Google Pixel 2 XL, a device that was presented 15 days ago.

The Nintendo Switch can be used as a portable console or connected to a television to play as if it were a traditional console. The problem is that to be able to play with headphones, the only option was to do it with wired headphones, wired, which forces us to use adapters in most cases. But it seems that this problem is over.

Nintendo has released update 4.0 for the operating system that manages the Nintendo Switch, with several new features including a function that allows us to connect a USB receiver to link wireless headphones, as discovered by some Reddit users. These users have confirmed that when connecting it a new menu appears called USB Volume with which we can manage the volume of these. But what is striking is in the notes for this update Nintendo has made no mention of this function.

In this way, we can now leave the console in the Dock, connect a receiver to the USB port to be able to enjoy games with wireless headphones without disturbing our environment. Unfortunately this function only works with wireless headphones that work with a USB connected to the device, so at the moment, our bluetooth headphones are still not compatible, something that still does not make sense and we do not fully understand the reason for this limitation. We hope that in future updates they will solve it once and for all.
