The PlayStation 4 Slim has more news, changes in the DualShock 4

dual-shock-4 light

Yesterday we quickly showed you the first photos of the PlayStation 4 Slim. Although many were skeptical, we can confirm that the PS4 Slim is a reality and it was just as we saw in the photographs. A few hours ago, a video was also leaked with the Unboxing of the console and a start-up to reaffirm the veracity of the matter. However, thanks to this video we could see that the PS4 Slim brings another novelty with it, the DualShock 4 has been renewed and now allows you to see the colored LED from the Touchpad, without having to move the knob.

The change is simple but certain. The Touchpad panel has been made with a small transparency on the front that will allow us to see a line of the colored LED on the remote. Kind of like what was displayed on top of the PlayStation 4 Fat, the original model of the console, a line of light that won many followers and that tells us what the current state of the console is. However, at the command level, it seems to be the only aspect that has been renewed in the PlayStation 4 Slim. In the same way, it would not be a bad thing if they had changed the material with which they coated the joysticks of the control, since they were worn and deteriorated too easily.

The arrangement has been as ingenious as it is simple. If they included a second LED bar, the battery consumption of the remote would be considerable, and the autonomy of the DS4 is not exactly the best. So they have limited themselves to creating a small transparency in that area of the Touchpad, and the result is great, as you can see in the video of the unboxing that we are going to leave embedded on these lines. The PS4 Slim would be launched next September at the same price as the current one.
