The Vivo APEX, with an all-screen front and no notch, is presented on June 12

During the past MWC, many were the manufacturers that officially presented some of the terminals that would arrive throughout the year. One of the most striking was the Vivo APEX, a terminal that according to the concept that they showed, the front was all screen, with hardly any edges.

The front camera is hidden on the upper side, and appears and disappears, in theory, when we use an application that needs to have access to the camera. The company did not offer much information in this regard, so to see what the actual operation is, we will have to wait until June 12, the date on which Vivo will officially present this terminal.

For now and until this terminal is officially presented, the biggest problem that we pose to you, without knowing how the camera works / mechanism, since being a mechanism, over time it can get damaged, and it does not seem cheap to replace it, especially considering that Vivo's international expansion has just begun, so in many countries currently have no presence nor are they expected.

Leaving aside, this main negative point, we find a very positive point to consider. I'm talking about privacy. As the camera is hidden at all times, we can rest easy knowing that our camera cannot be spying on us, a security plus for the most paranoid.

But the really interesting thing is that the front, a front that will be all screen, without having to crop a part of the screen to place the front camera, the light sensor, the phone speaker ... This model will implement the fingerprint sensor under the screen, just like the Vivo X20, the first terminal to hit the market with this fingerprint recognition technology underneath from the screen.
