Many are the agencies that want to reach Mars in the medium term and, for this, as we are used to seeing, they talk about getting install a permanent base on the Moon, which would serve as a platform for both supply and launch to later carry out that trip to Mars that humans have been dreaming of for decades.

For those who do not recognize who they are by name Jeff Bezos, tell you that it is nothing less than the CEO and founder of AmazonEven for which his current economic status is not enough, he is willing to propose different ways of increasing his personal wealth even more by colonizing the star in the medium term. Specifically, he has been interested in relocate all factories on Earth to the MoonEven where there is ice water and lots of energy resources.
The idea of Bezos is, as I said, the less striking, especially when it is based on the fact that thanks to this relocation of the factories we would achieve avoid further polluting our planet, very mistreated by the emission of polluting material from heavy industry. Undoubtedly an argument that can be quite weighty, especially for all those people who seek to open the door to the exploration and colonization of space.
Of course, as in many other initiatives, sending factories to the Moon is not the only objective that Jeff Bezos has since, as we say and has been published on many websites, there are many tycoons who would be interested in being part of this project to get some kind of permission to start extract minerals and send them to Earth.
To carry out Jeff Bezos's plan, many resources are needed, especially financial ones, which he does not have.
If Jeff Bezos has been characterized by something throughout his career, it has been precisely by working and taking his time so that all the projects in which he is part take shape little by little. In this sense, the idea of colonizing the Moon is not something that will happen in the next 10 or 20 years but rather Amazon's CEO himself has set a timeframe of roughly 100 years from now for this to happen.
Personally, I have to confess that this estimate of 100 years for the colonization of the Moon seems to me, to say the least, quite optimistic although, the truth is that, to achieve this goal, someone has to start working in this direction and something does should be clear, Jeff Bezos already works on the project.
In this sense, if we look at the little information we can find, we can see that to carry out this project it is necessary to make an investment of a lot of money, more than your personal fortune can support, something that can serve as an indication of the magnitude of the project in which Jeff Bezos has immersed himself, which today is trying to explore some kind of public-private adventure in collaboration with NASA.
