The new flagship of the South Korean company has perfectly fulfilled what was expected, without too many surprises and with some notorious absence.

There is no doubt that it is the most powerful terminal on the market and with total security one of the most outstanding smartphones of the coming months, yes at least there are 7 things that would have made the Samsung Galaxy S8 even better and that unfortunately are not a reality.

A Galaxy S8 with a totally flat screen

When the Galaxy S7 arrived on the market Samsung opted for a version with a totally flat screen and for an Edge version that has the screen curved on both sides. However, the Galaxy S8 has two versions, depending on the size of the screen, but in both cases it is curved.

A good handful of users, including myself, this type of screens do not like them at all, and unfortunately they must "swallow" with it and that is we will not see on the market a Galaxy S8 with a totally flat screen, something that honestly would not have been wrong.

A more normal position for the fingerprint reader

Samsung mobile devices, unlike other manufacturers, have always placed the fingerprint reader on the front, along with the Home button. However, this time he has sought a new position for him, which has raised many doubts.

And in the new Galaxy S8 the fingerprint reader is on the back, next to the rear cameraVery much in the style of Huawei or LG, but that has left the legion of fans of Samsung smartphones somewhat unhappy.

Dual camera, the great absent

Unlike what other manufacturers do, Samsung has decided to bet on a single version of its Galaxy S8, with 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card of up to 256GB.

Possibly nobody or almost nobody will need more internal storage space, without having to depend on a microSD card, but it would not have been bad if Samsung had offered us some more version of storage, as for example Apple offers with its iPhone .

A larger, fast-charging battery

The Galaxy S8 has been presented on the market with a 3.000 mAh battery for the version with a 5.8-inch screen and 3.500 mAh for the version with a 6.2-inch screen. Surprisingly, this growth in screen size has not been accompanied by a larger battery.Something at least surprising, although in the absence of being able to squeeze the new device to check the autonomy that the battery of the new smartphone will offer us, in which Samsung has worked intensively.

In addition, we will not be able to enjoy fast charging, something that is increasingly present in new mobile devices and that we once again miss in the new Samsung terminal.

A more powerful international version

There is an increasing number of manufacturers that are betting on the market launch of an international version, something different from the normal versions, and that normally bet on more RAM and higher storage.

The Chinese version will feature precisely 6GB of RAM, but unfortunately it will not leave the Asian country leaving the rest without the possibility of enjoying it. For now we will have to settle for an international version with perhaps too short 4GB of RAM.

The new Galaxy S8 is already a reality, which we have been talking about for a long time, but Samsung did not have prepared the surprises that we all expected for its new mobile device not only to become one of the best and best sellers in history, but to go one step further and fully please everyone.
