This week the Sony Xperia Ear hits the market

Xperia Ears

The era of independent, wireless headphones, at least that's what it sounds like, as Sony introduced theirs right after Apple and Samsung. However, it seems that Sony has been a bit more of a hurry in the production chains, since the headphones of the Japanese company will reach their owners next week, while Apple is involved in a dark disquisition about whether they will arrive. or not the new AirPods headphones for the Christmas sales season. Meanwhile, we can get to know the Xperia Ear, another alternative of wireless headphones that will hit the market this week.

It will be eight months since Sony unveiled these new headphones. The problem was that they did not have support for Siri or Google Now, so they decided to include their own assistant directly from the headphones. However, the big difference or problem in the case of Sony Xperia Ear, is that it is a single headset, with which we can control calls, music and even dictate messages, but a single headset, so listening to music on the street seems that it is not going to be its main function, remaining more like a work tool, while in the case of AirPods they are a fairly obvious element of leisure.

Like we have already said, the Xperia Ear was presented at the last Mobile World CongressFurthermore, it is the first product in the Xperia range that is not a mobile device. In this way, Sony wanted to test a bit of its artificial intelligence, just before officially launching the Xperia Projector and the Xperia Agent (a domestic robot). Of course, they will not be cheap at all, € 199 if you want to get this headset that is not designed for music lovers, but to make your life easier.
