At the moment both young men remain under house arrest and a judge has prohibited them from using the internet for 30 days.
As for how to discover who was behind this peculiar service, to mention that ironically this whole case came to light because your vDOS service was hacked by a security company that had suffered one of its attacks. Thanks to this, they were able to get hold of the client list and from there they managed to reveal the identity of the two young people.
