The case seems quite serious is that the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC in its acronym in English) has been in charge of giving the notice to users of Samsung washing machines.
The affected model is the WA50F9A7DSP / A2 which has the cargo door on the top. The problematic washing machine would have been manufactured between March 2011 and April 2016. At the moment there are already 3 cases of explosions of this model of washing machine.
