It has just introduced new drives that can reach a hefty 30 TB. Toshiba is working to have all market sectors covered. And for the business sector that demands large volumes of data, there will be two options: SAS SSDs and NVMe SSDs. The latter are the Toshiba CM5 model. Both use 64-layer TLC technology and the capacities will range from 400 GB to 30,72 TB in the first case, while in the second we will have capacities ranging from 800 GB to 15,36 TB.

If the transfer (reading) speed has seemed good to you in the new Toshiba SSDs of the SAS type, in the case of NVMe it is true that less storage is achieved but they will be achieved transfer speeds doubling the first.

Finally, the prices have not been disclosed, but we can tell you that both the Toshiba PM-5 and the Toshiba CM-5 can be purchased with resistance rates that can be 1,3,5 DWPD and 10 DWPD only on Toshiba PM-5.
