CES 2017 keeps bringing us news in absolutely all terms of technology and consumer electronics, so we continue to bingo. The laptop seems to be dying little by little, and it is that convertible devices are gaining more and more prominence in brands, halfway between tablets and laptops, which allow us greater versatility, because we are facing a tactile era, where working with your finger becomes almost faster than pulling the mouse and keyboard. So Toshiba has not wanted to be left behind and has presented the Portege X20W, a new device with very interesting features.
This device will have the seventh generation Intel Core processors, accompanied of course by a good screen with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), in 12,5 inches. This laptop is only 15mm thick, quite thin, and low weights.
Another interesting aspect is the battery, Toshiba promises us up 16 hours autonomy that will delight almost anyone, although that remains to be seen. The screen is capable of rotating at 360º angles, providing a lot of versatility and greater ease of use when it comes to taking advantage of its touch functions.
It will have two cameras that will allow us to take advantage of the Windows Hello facial recognition unlock, and in terms of connectivity we find a USB 3.0 and another USB-C both to charge and to emit image and sound, it will depend on our needs.
It comes with a touch pen with up to 2.048 different pressure points, which will allow us to take notes and draw pictures as quickly as possible. The offer that Toshiba offers us is interesting at least, however, they have not wanted to talk about prices or exact launch dates, although they have commented that It could be present in stores from February.
