Tweedle, a Twitter client for Android

Tweedle 01

Although the devices Android has its own Twitter app (and also, official), those who manage to manage their social network from this work environment often encounter one or another problem when sending messages or reviewing those that our friends have published. A good alternative that could improve this situation is tweedles, which is a client developed by third parties and that would not serve perfectly to make posts on Twitter much easier than before.

tweedles is just that, that is, a small client that we could use to link it to our Twitter social network, being able to later examine everything that has been happening on our wall and of course, send messages from this client without having to open Twitter directly.

Download and install Tweedle on Android

So you can download to tweedlesYou just have to go to the Google Play store and place the name of this client in your search engine; Immediately you will find as results tweedles for Android; just select it and then click on «to install«, So after a few seconds you can use it from your Android device.

The link to your Twitter account has to be done manually, which suggests that you must enter both the username and the respective password (the access credentials); It does not matter if you previously opened your Twitter account with the respective credentials on the same device, as tweedles it just won't detect it and therefore, the income that we have mentioned and recommended before must be made; after that you will find the first welcome screen, where you will only have to click on "Tap here to Start", Or put another way, that you touch the little button to start the service.

The first thing you will notice is the interface of tweedles and where, primarily the 3 information tabs are present, which are:

  • Chronology.
  • Mentions
  • Posts.

If you look at the blue bar that is at the top (above these tabs that we have mentioned above), you can admire that towards the upper left corner is the logo of tweedles, while on the other side are the options for:

  • Send a message.
  • Explore on your Twitter account.
  • Enter the configuration tweedles.

We wanted to mention this situation due to a very interesting aspect that we have managed to notice; the top bar where the aforementioned elements are found, is practically identical to what you can also admire in the same WhatsApp interface, referring specifically to the area in the upper right corner (with the elements that we listed before). Logically, on the upper left side of WhatsApp we will find your own logo. Everything would make you think, that the developer of tweedles It is the same as the messaging to which we have made the comparison.
Functions to work with tweedles

Tweedle vs. Whats 01

Regarding the elements to be able to work and interact in tweedles When it is already linked to our Twitter profile, they are very easy to be identified. For example, the message icon (with the small + sign) it will help us to send a new one to any contact; All you have to do is touch this icon to open the interface with space for 140 characters, which is the maximum capacity of the messages to be sent with Twitter.

Regarding the configuration button in tweedles (the 3 points vertically in the upper right corner), there we could review the list of followers, who we are following, the favorites and the total number of Tweets we have published, as long as we click on «profile«.

In the same configuration but touching the option «adjustment»Instead, we will have the possibility to customize the interface of tweedles, this because we could get to program the type of columns to show, the sound with the notifications, the themes (skins) and even, add another Twitter account to this service. Perhaps this is another of its benefits, since from the same client we could manage more than one Twitter account if we wish.
