In the last six months, Twitter has terminated 376.890 accounts related to terrorism, accounts that have been identified using the different tools that the companies have created, as we can read in the latest company statement. But it has not been the only method used by the company to detect these types of accounts, since users have sent different reports that have contributed to the company having eliminated 5.929 accounts. In recent years, Twitter had become one of the most used tools by terrorists to promote separatism, racism, nationalists and simply hatred. The company is working together with People Against Violent Extremism to find all possible avenues of communication between terrorists and thus try to close them.
