Twitter will add 'Save for later' feature

New Twitter save for later feature

Twitter continues to reinvent itself and is adding new features to the social network. Know what other platforms like Instagram are gaining ground. And this causes movements within the company. 140 characters are a thing of the past. And recently this limit was raised to 280 characters; that is to say, double.

However, this does not end here. And as announced through his Twitter account, Twitter's Product Manager will confirm that they have been working with developers in recent weeks. The "read for later" function is something that has been around for a long time on the Net. Especially under popular applications such as "Pocket".

Now after the important drop in user assets that the company was suffering, with this new "save for later" button the user would be able to stay active longer on the social network. On the other hand, the Product Manager herself indicated some interesting features of this new function.

Firstly, future Twitter news will be completely anonymous; Just as now your entire Timeline is shown whether you like a tweet or not, in this case no one will know — not even the creator of that message — that you have saved it to read later. Also, each tweet sent will have a save option. And the native Twitter application will offer a menu where you can collect all these messages for later reading.

Now, at the moment there is no exact release date. But after the presentation of several official voices within the company, we do not think they will take too long. Also, this "Save for later" function can be really useful when messages are accompanied by links that require a more leisurely reading, as well as being able to save images that an interesting account contributes on the net.
