What to expect from the iPhone 6S?

Much remains until the WWDC '15 where is present iOS 9 y September 2015 when, based on previous years, Apple present iPhone 6S and 6S Plus or whatever they call them. However, there are already many rumors that circulate on the network, and I do not think there is much more to say (unless a really interesting rumor rises strongly).

At this point, I think I can take a chance on forecasting which I think it will include the future iPhone or what I would like it to include.

Screen

It has been rumored that Apple is going to opt for OLED screens, why not present them together with the iPhone 6S? Any improvement is always welcome, and if you are going to give our iPhone a better color representation and a higher quality brightness, then go ahead!

It is also said that the next iPhone will incorporate the technology released by the Apple Watch called Force Touch, which in my opinion would be very interesting.

Integrated

In this aspect I doubt that Apple will change much, based on the previous iPhone Apple has always maintained the design of an iPhone for 2 years, and this case will not be less when the iPhone 6 is adored by many as the most beautiful smartphone on the market . Perhaps it is possible that due to the reduction in the size of the components that always occurs, Apple takes the opportunity to add some internal reinforcement and thus save itself from another bendgate, which good or bad is still advertising.

Camera

It is rumored that the new iPhone would come with a double objective system that, as we have already seen in other terminals such as the Honor 6 Plus It provides certain advantages for example when it comes to capturing more light, it could also make HDR photos instantaneous by making each lens capture with a different exposure, and there is even talk of optical zoom, something that would come from fable by allowing us to bring the image closer without reducing quality although it would require a greater thickness and space within the same terminal. Nor would it be bad for the middle brother (4'7 ″) to inherit the OIS or optical stabilization system from its older brother, the 6 Plus, which would allow us to take pictures by compensating our pulse and videos without vibrations.

Performance

More rumors, in this case it is assumed that the Apple A9 has already begun to be manufactured by Samsung under its 14-nanometer technology, dimensions less than the current 8-nanometer A20. The reason that Apple reverts to Samsung, apart from benefiting from technology that allows it to reduce size and thus increase efficiency, would be TSMC's inability to take over the manufacturing processes of the A8 in the past, rejoining out of interest once again to two great rivals.

As for good specifications, we have as an example the A8X of the iPad Air 2, we can assume that due to the increase in RAM in the iPad Ai 2 to 2GB the new iPhone also incorporates this amount although on a single chip and using the new LPDDR4 technology ( remember that the iPad Air 2 has 2 3Gb LPDDR1 modules) which would reduce consumption (possible reason that Apple has not included 2Gb in the iPhone 6).

Why hasn't 2Gb been reached yet? Actually, if you are an iOS user, you will see that with the iPhone 5S or 6 you are rarely going to run out of available memory, to bad if you do many things at the same time Safari will have to reload the web pages, but the apps are fantastic even in multitasking and with 1Gb the system goes alone.

Why increase it to 2Gb then? iOS 9 will bring new functions and with them increased memory consumption, apart from that, all the competing manufacturers are already hovering around 3 or even 4Gb of RAM, which can make the iPhone seem like a weak phone on paper, although then it is shown that this is not so. However, increasing to 2Gb of RAM is a logical and natural step that Apple should take this year, otherwise it will disappoint many people.

Doubts? Well, the one that occurs to me has to do with the architecture of the CPU, which will be 64 bits, I don't doubt it (I don't think Apple will make another jump in this section in such a short time, it would be illogical), the issue is ... Will it have 3 cores like the iPad Air 2? Or will Apple unveil a Quad-Core beast? Of course I would prefer and bet on the 4 cores, although it is possible that Apple will choose the 3 or even keep the Dual-Core ...

Frequency? Well, I think the most natural thing would be (being the S version where they always focus on the specifications) for the new chip to go up to 2.0Ghz or at least get even closer.

In the graphic section I can think of two options or PowerVR GX6650 or PowerVR 7XT, both from the Imagination company, which has provided the GPUs for the latest iPhones and iPads. Preferably since we ask and it is a phone that is going to be expensive (like all iPhones) I would ask for the new 7XT GPUs, the GX6650 is very good (supposedly the iPhone 6 had it, although AnandTech denies it and claims that the iPhone 6 has the VR GX6450 while the 5S the GX6430 ...) but in the case of such an important generation leap in which many people have put their trust and (even I) save to be prepared, if possible it is the best, and more now when the mobile video game industry has come to life and is generating good profits.

Extras

What else can this new iPhone have to surprise us all? let's see:

Sapphire crystal display: Due to the astute yet creeping move that GT Advanced made to Apple, today iPhone 6 or 6 Plus owners do not enjoy scratch-resistant screens made from this valuable and interesting glass, instead we have a glass that many say users are scratched more than previous versions (said to be Gorilla Glass).

Stereo sound: I doubt that Apple will decide to put it, even if you look at the top of your iPhone, there is nothing! Taking advantage of the fact that they are not going to change the design but that they are going to reduce the size of the components, why not put a speaker above and equip it with stereo audio? in movies and video games it would play an important role, and it would be a move by Apple that would satisfy more than one.

Waterproof: Who wouldn't want the iPhone to be waterproof? I am not talking about making it submersible up to 2 meters and others, I prefer that Apple leave that to other manufacturers such as Lunatik or LifeProof, but it is resistant to, for example, we fall into the toilet, we shower with it, we drop a glass of water above, to the rain, etc ...

Apple has taken a step forward with the iPhone 6 covering the inside of the buttons with rubber bands to prevent water from infiltrating inside, but a little more effort would be great, they could use Gore-Tex as LifeProof does to protect the speakers and microphones, allowing air circulation but not water or dust, and better seal the inside of the lightning connector and other ports in some other way that does not require the tabs of the Galaxy S5 or Xperia Z ... Because a solution like that of these two terminals has its limitations, for example, in salt water the phones are not submersible because they can corrode the metal parts, that's why I leave that section to the covers that can face salt water .
