WhatsApp and its text statuses are now available on Android again

This past week the launch of the status of the WhatsApp application in text format was announced, and This morning the application for Android users has already been updated. With this update we can say that the previous statuses have officially reached the messaging application and with them the "slap on the wrist" that the community has given the developers and owners of the application. Let us remember that one of the novelties that WhatsApp provided was precisely the states with the option to add a video, GIF or similar that lasts about 24 hours, but it seems that it has not been too successful and they have reconsidered with the decision, making the states available again of text.

Does this mean that they have removed the new statuses in true Snapchat or Instagram Stories style? No. These are still available but the only thing that changes in the update is that now You can write what you want in the Info section of your profile. To make these changes in your profile you simply have to go to Settings and tap on your profile name To change the text, at the bottom you will see the option available if you have updated.

In the event that you do not have automatic updates, we leave the new version below so that you can download it to your device. For now, the new version is only available for Android users, but it won't take long to show up for iOS device users. In any case this time we can already say that version 4.4 is available to everyone, at least in Spain.
