Windows 10 will allow us to add application folders to the start menu

Windows 10 has been one of the operating systems that has changed the way in which traditional Windows users interact with it the most. While it is true that Windows 8 and its tile interface annoyed many users, the idea was not bad. Fortunately, with Windows 8.1, the start menu returned, although system applications could also be accessed through the new interface, an interface that was not bad but that forced users to modify the way they interacted with Windows overnight. the morning, a change that did not feel good at all. Fortunately, Windows 10 came with a mix of Windows 7 and Windows 8 interface, that is, with the classic start menu and with the tiles distributed on the right side of the menu.

Windows 10 Anniversary has meant a slight aesthetic change in the left part of the menu, where currently only settings icons are shown. But it is not the only change that Windows has planned for future updates, as MSPowerUser has leaked, the Redmond-based company you are testing an option that allows users to create folders in the start menu where the tiles are placed, folders that would include applications or shortcuts to them, in order to group in a single place, applications for example photo editing, video players, applications to create GIFs ...

In this way Windows 10 in its desktop version you would receive the same option currently offered by the mobile version of Windows 10, option that allows us to create folders in the start menu as if they were direct accesses. At the moment this function is only available in the latest betas of the Windows Insider program, but it does not mean that in the final version it is available, although being as good an idea as it is, it should be.
