Windows 8.1 is the new update that Microsoft proposed for its latest operating system, which added a considerable amount of features of which now, we are all beneficiaries.
Unfortunately, those who migrated from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 have encountered a small problem in which, your computer will no longer sleep in the conventional way Rather, it shuts down completely and with it, the entire restart process will have to be carried out for a long time. This situation apparently occurred due to a small variation in some of the operating system's functions, something that is easy to correct through a series of sequential steps that we will indicate in this article.

Clicking on this new option (Energy) will open a wizard through a window; there we will be informed that the Windows 8.1 Power function will try to correct any type of problems found in the operating system settings.

After a short time the analysis will finish, showing us a small window where the type of error that has been corrected will be shown; we will only have to close this window and then get ready to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
