Mexico conquers Hollywood again
Guillermo del Toro, along with Alfonso Cuarón and Alejandro González Iñarritu, all of them Mexican, in the new kings of the film industryAll of them have won at least one Oscar for their latest work (Alfonso Cuarón for Best Director for Gravity in 2017 and Alejandro Iñarritu for Best Film and Best Director for Birdman in 2015). Cuarón and Del Toro worked together on the film Pan's Labyrinth, garnering six 2007 Oscar nominations
Between some of the best known films of Guillermo del Toro, in addition to Pan's Labyrinth we find Cronos, Blade II, El espinzado del diablo, Mimic, Hellboy, Hellboy II, Pacific Rim (of which the second part is about to be released, although it has only been in charge of the script)
