Recently my partner Jordi told you about a leak that left us speechlessIt seemed like Sony was planning to release a device that it hadn't talked about at all and went by the nickname F8331. However, analysts around the world are starting to connect the dots to conclude that the Xperia F8331 could be called the Sony Xperia XR, a device that was mentioned by Sony and that would arrive exactly during the IFA of this year 2016, to be held in the German capital, Berlin.

In attention to the photos that were leaked, we find a peculiar device, quite rare and different from what Sony has used to us with its Xperia range, dispensing with more glass and advocating aluminum, with a double led flash with a light tone and yellow. As for other details, it seems that the front will have a curved glass, which in the line of the curved sides gives a rather elegant touch. However, the four corners of the device do seem quite narrow, as well as the top and bottom quite flat. On the side, we can also see the Sony fingerprint reader, in a different tone.

As for the unconfirmed features, we would find a charging port via USB-C, like almost all new devices, without abandoning the 3,5 mm jack. The screen will stay in 1080p FullHD, while the camera will will be able to record video in 4K and photographs at 13 MP, the reality is that Sony tends to do quite well when it comes to camera lenses and sensors. Rumors also predict a 5,1-inch screen and Android as an operating system, this last point is quite obvious. The processor, a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 and 3GB of RAM.
