Amazon

Digital reading has an increasing number of followers and although many users continue to insist on affirming that books in digital format can be read perfectly on a tablet, eReaders are the perfect device to enjoy this type of book. Kobo GloHD

Kobo

Perhaps Kobo eReaders are somewhat less known to most users, but their quality and performance are beyond doubt. An example of this is the Kobo GloHD, which on many occasions has been compared to Amazon's Kindle Voyage, emerging as the winner without too much difficulty. Of course, there are many users who prefer the Amazon device, despite the fact that its price is much higher.

Focusing on the Kobo Glo HD, we are talking about a device that like most has a 6-inch screen, with Carta E-ink technology and that has an impressive resolution of 300 pixels per inch, allowing us to read in the most comfortable and with the highest possible quality.

tagus

Another of the great references of the digital reading market is Tagus, which for quite some time has been offering us different devices, which have managed to improve until reaching the new Tagus Lux 2016, an eReader that incorporates the new Carta screen, developed by E-ink and that also offers us other interesting specifications, in addition to a careful design and a fairly low price.

If we had to highlight something about this device, in addition to its screen, it is its lightness, its speed when, for example, turning the pages of any eBook or the Android 4.4.2 operating system that runs inside and that allows us to use some applications, already installed, such as the web browser, an email manager or Twitter itself.

Next, we are going to review the main characteristics and specifications of this 2016 Tagus Lux;

The Kindle Voyage is undoubtedly Amazon's reference device, but in addition the company directed by Jeff Bezos has another device available on the market, of great quality and power, with a somewhat lower price. We are talking, as you all surely know, about Kindle Paperwhite that is presented as a great option to enjoy eBooks, for a price of EUR 129,99.

We could say that the Paperwhite is a step behind the Voyage, at all levels, but it has nothing to envy other electronic books on the market that are available and some of which we will see in this article.

All the Kindle Paperwhite Key Features and Specifications They are the following;

Kobo Aura H2O and basic Kindle

Kobo

To close this list we have not been able to resist including a couple of devices that we thought we could not leave out and between which it has been impossible for us to choose. Some of you will surely say that because we have not proposed a list of 6 devices, but we like to complicate our lives and we have decided to create one of 5 eReaders with two different options in the event that we do not like any of the 4 devices that we already have. reviewed.

El Kobo Aura H2O and Basic Kindle They are the two electronic books that we have chosen to close the list for two simple reasons. The Kobo device offers us a 6,8-inch screen, somewhat larger than what we find in most devices on the market. It also has the possibility of wetting it and even submerging it, making it the perfect eReader to use in the bathtub or to read in the pool.

Basic Kindle

Meanwhile the basic Kindle is one of the cheapest electronic books on the market, but with some more than interesting features and specifications. For example, it is the ideal eReader for all those who are starting in the world of digital reading or who are going to combine reading paper books with eBooks and its price does not even reach 80 euros. It can also become the perfect eReader for all those users who are going to combine the reading of digital books and books in the traditional physical format, and which are undoubtedly a large number since digital reading is still far from surpassing reading. as we know it today.

Choosing the best e-reader is not an easy task. Many factors come into play and in the end there is a very important subjective part, which is why we like to have other points of view and we recommend that you read which is the best ebook for our colleagues at Todo eReaders

Why did eReader decide on all the ones we have shown you?. Tell us in the space reserved for comments on this post or do it through one of the social networks in which we are present.

    Good,

    I don't quite understand the end result.
    What justifies the € 60 difference between the Glo HD and the Voyage? The screen is the same, the general catalog is the same and also Kobo reads the epub (which is not the case with Kindle).

    Please help me understand that so I don't buy anything (because I don't think this blog is sponsored by Amazon!).

    Thank you,

      The Kindle is more expensive because you pay for the brand.
