A few weeks ago we already told you about the spectacular appearance on the scene of the mobile phone operator FreedomPop, which quickly caught the attention of almost everyone, thanks to the fact that it offers some of its services for free. Now this peculiar operator is already officially available in Spain and ready to win users at full speed.
The basic rate offered by FreedomPop has 100 minutes of calls, 300 text messages and 200 MB of data, for which those spent through WhatsApp will not count. Any user who wants to leave their current operator can do so, requesting a FreedomPop SIM card that, according to their managers, will begin to be sent very soon and in strict order of request.
Of course this new mobile phone operator, which aims to revolutionize the market, also offers two other rates, both with unlimited calls and text messages, but with 2 or 5 GB of navigation. In this case, the prices are quite similar to those offered by other operators and in the case of the 2 GB rate, the price will initially be 8.99 euros per month. For the 5 GB rate at maximum speed, the price goes up to 15.99 euros.
Now the only thing that remains to be seen is the coverage that FreedomPop will offer us and that is that a free rate, it is evident that it cannot offer us the same possibilities as a payment rate from one of the large operators.
