Sound Zenith, the new SPC wireless speaker for this summer [Review]

SPC continues to maintain its firm commitment to offering products with a close quality-price ratio for all types of users. We have analyzed here, in Actualidad Gadget, multitude of these devices, and this time it's time to take a look at an audio product, an ideal wireless speaker to spend this summer.

We took an in-depth look at SPC's new Sound Zenith, a rugged, high-powered wireless speaker. Discover with us this new SPC product, what are its strengths, weaknesses and of course the opinion of our analyst. You won't want to miss it.

A known design but it works

The new SPC Sound Zenith is made of rubber, nylon textile and black plastics that give it extra resistance and firmness, something to take into account in this type of device. Although it is surprising because the weight is not as high as we are used to in this type of device, however, taking into account the price of the product, it was a detail that could be expected.

we have some 76*80*180 mm dimensions for a total weight of approx. 450 grams, content and compact, easy to transport and that leaves us with a good feeling at first glance in terms of perceived quality.

At the ends we have the speaker protections where the basses will presumably be found. On a front the buttons of a considerable size to adjust the volume, pause the song, start the Bluetooth pairing and of course turning the device on and off.

  • It has a handle to facilitate transport.
  • IPX7 water resistance.

For its part, It has a series of LEDs that help us to interact with the speaker, an indicator of 4 points of autonomy, and a period regarding the Bluetooth connection. For the back are the physical connections.

connections and settings

The Bluetooth 5.1 connection will allow us to enjoy the sound through any type of transmitting device compatible with this technology, such as your smartphone or PC. For its part, in the rear area and well protected we have:

  • Port for microSD cards that will allow us to listen to music
  • USB-C port for charging
  • 3,5mm jack port to connect devices via analog

for the connection Bluetooth just press the Bluetooth logo on the back, once it flashes quickly it will appear in the settings section of our smartphone and the connection will be instant.

Technical characteristics

SPC's Sound Zenith has a battery that It will offer us up to 12 hours of playback in total, much more autonomy if we talk about the stand-by mode, and that is that the speaker will automatically turn off to preserve its autonomy in case of detecting the absence of audio transmission of any kind.

The battery in total is 3.600 mAh, and we can use it interchangeably as a PowerBank, although taking into account its capacity it is not something that we can recommend either. In addition, charging the battery has taken us a little over two hours to fully charge, so it can be an interesting waste of time.

We also have two speakers, 12W each and therefore we enjoy stereo sound for a total of 24W. At maximum volume we find a good power-clarity ratio, although a little more bass is missing, they are enough to use it outdoors on a regular basis, especially considering its resistance.

It has a hands-free system TrueWireless, that is, we can connect up to two devices either simultaneously or to remember them in future connections.

Editor's opinion

The SPC Sound Zenith has a price of only 49,90 euros at its point of sale usual or on the official website of SPC. This makes it a good option considering its value for money, bearing in mind, yes, that although it is a powerful product, the audio quality is perhaps not the highest on the market but... Who gives more for less?
