The LG G6 would have the all-in-one in-camera iris scanner

Lg iris

The LG G5, of which yesterday we reviewed these lines in another entry, it was not that flagship than expected. The Korean manufacturer was diluted in a modular aspect that reduced forces so that the device itself, which is what we are interested in buying one, had even more power in some of its aspects like that regular battery.

Now they have ahead of the LG G6 from which we are getting to know some other information that, little by little, is drawing what the terminal will be. This time it seems that they will include the iris scanner just like Samsung's ill-fated Note 7, although LG's idea is that it is located in the same camera for what is an "all in one".

The iris scanner is simply yet another form of authentication on a smartphone. The difference with the Note 7 is in its construction and size. And it is that most of the iris scanners are usually located independently. This means that they can be present next to the front camera, something that differs from LG's idea for its G6.

In the LG G6 this sensor would be in the same All-in-one camera. This has some advantages, but the main one is that it will save costs in the manufacture of each of those terminals that will be distributed throughout the planet and that could be more adjusted in price; an important distinction for some flagships that now have another great actor on the scene: the Pixel.

What we are waiting for is the possibility that the modular aspect is out of the G6 equation. We have to confirm whether LG will continue with it, or will focus on bringing us a more complete smartphone in general terms.
