Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus, two new speakers for the mid-range

However, things do not remain here. And since it is one of the queen brands of the mid-range, the company has launched two new terminals on the market: Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus. Following the trend of Samsung, Huawei or even Apple, Xiaomi launches a model in two screen versions: 5,7 and 5,99 inches.

To begin with, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 would be the entry model. This one would have a 5,7-inch screen and HD + resolution; that is, 1.440 x 720 pixels. Likewise, inside we would have a Snapdragon 425 processor and a RAM of 2 or 3 GB, accompanied by 16 or 32 GB of storage, respectively.

Also, on the back we find a 12 megapixel photo camera, with built-in LED flash and fingerprint reader to unlock the terminal much faster and safer. The battery with which it has reaches 3.000 mAh capacity and the price of this model will start at approximately 120 euros.

For its part, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is the largest model. his screen is 5,99 inches and achieves a Full HD + resolution (2.160 x 1.080 pixels). In this case, the processor that will move the entire team is a Snapdragon 625 and it will be accompanied by 3 or 4 GB of RAM and capacities of 32 or 64 GB. That is to say, a notch above his brother in every respect.

The rear camera of this equipment also has a 12 megapixel sensor and dual LED flash. The fingerprint reader is also located below the sensor and in this case we will have a 3.300 milliamp battery. The price of this model will start from 130-140 euros.

Both models will go on sale, first of all, in their native country. In China It can be obtained from December 12. Although it is expected to reach other countries a few weeks later.
